Honda Other . Full rebuild with CR250 mods. The Cr250 Elsinore had 7 more horsepower. The engine builder built the motor to the CR specs. The MR 250 was basically a detuned CR 250 to make the powerband more friendly for woods and enduro racing/riding. Not sure if it was the stroke, head or porting that gave the CR more power, but I likes it. Wiseco piston kit, not sure about bore size. Break in time only on the bike since rebuild. Frame and swingarm powdercoated. New chain. sprockets, and tires. Hammerhead shocks are way cool and were the suspension upgrade in the day.

Gas tank is repainted (sorry the paint scheme is not original), nevertheless the paint work was nicely done and professional, no rattle can, tweaker paint job. Forks were rebuilt. Seat cover is perfect. Mirrors, handguards, and license plate holder. Lights work. New carb, fuel filter and lines. Rebuilt petcock. Inside gas tank is perfect, zero rust, no creme. I rode it in the desert and it rips. The suspension is excellent, I couldn't believe it. The front brake is spongy, probably needs adjusted. Side Panels were hacked, not sure why, maybe to accomodate the Hammerhead shocks. They were nicely painted and look good, new decals. Fenders are pretty good, looks like they are flaking a little from an older repaint. It appears they could be restored nicely with some sanding and polishing. Head pipe is nice with no dents, nicely painted with header paint. Muffler is in great shape, appears to be aftermarket, not sure what brand. Bike runs great, looks good, is street legal, and fairly rare. Clear WA title. Bike would make an excellent vintage racer and would be very competitive. I have 3 extra motors if the new owner would like to return to the MR 250 specs we can work something out. I can deliver to much of the West and Midwest for free or cheap if I am traveling in your area, otherwise delivery is the buyer's responsibility. $200 deposit only to Paypal.
