Seller Description

This is a 1975 Norton MK3 with
electric start and left side shift. I have owned this bike for about 7
years. It is a part of a large collection of motorcycles that I
own. I have decided to start downsizing my collection. I have an
open title from the original seller. This Numbers Matching Norton has had
about 900 hours spent Rebuilding it. They started with a Powder Coated Frame
and Black Parts. The Engine was Completely Rebuilt including New Crank, Crank
Bearings, Rod Bearings, New Cam, Cam Bushings, Pistons, Rings,
Cylinder,Black Diamond Valves, Brass Valve guides, Amal Carbs with
K&N, Boyerelectronic ignition,New Wiring
Harness, Primary and Drive Chain, Transmission gone thru with New Bearings and
oil seal, Strong Electric Starter, Rebuilt Hubs Front and Rear, New Rims with
Stainless Spokes and mounted with New Tires, New Roadster Exhaust, New Brakes
including New Rotors, Rebuilt Master Cylinders, Rebuilt Brake Calipers, Rebuilt
Gauges, New Headlight, Rebuilt Forks, Seat Cover and many, many other
things. The bike had 7,000 original miles on it when it was completely
disassembled and rebuilt. The black side covers are
fiberglassaftermarket from Andover Norton. The gas tank was
purchased oneBay. I believethe tank is from India. The
cosmetics are well above averagebut not perfect. I noticed the bike
does not have a horn.

There is a slight flaw in the gas tank paint. Included are the originalfiberglasstank and metal side covers. I had to replace them because the tank started to bubble from methanolfound in todays gas. Bike runs and starts great. Sold as is. All photos are current
photos taken 9/21/2020. This is a no reserve auction! Hi bidder takes it home.
